Tsemba Investors
Invest in Africa's digital mobility and delivery infrastructure.
Tsemba is an African platform that combines rides, food and parcels in one app, with an integrated digital wallet. We are building the urban mobility and logistics layer for markets global platforms serve poorly or ignore.
We welcome investors, funds and strategic partners interested in Mozambique, South Africa or any other market where Tsemba can launch with a local operator.

Investment thesis
Why Tsemba makes sense now.
African cities are growing fast, mobile is the primary digital channel and mobile money is already a habit. What is missing is the software layer that organises transport, food and parcels on top of it.
Fast urbanisation
Maputo, Matola, Beira, Nampula, Johannesburg and Durban concentrate daily transport and delivery demand in areas with weak addressing and heavy traffic — exactly where a local platform performs better.
Three revenue lines, one network
Rides, food and parcels share the same app, the same partners and the same local team, so every acquired user can generate revenue three ways.
Integrated digital wallet
Tsemba Wallet supports top-ups, payments and peer transfers, driving retention and creating a natural base for future financial services.
Local acquisition cost
We grow through local operators, fleets and restaurants and through territory franchises instead of expensive imported campaigns.
Markets
Where we operate and where we are heading.
Each market launches with its own plan: legal framework, pricing, local payment methods and an operator accountable for execution on the ground.
Mozambique
Core market
Tsemba's base operation, with local mobile payments, province-level pricing and direct onboarding of drivers, couriers and restaurants.
South Africa
Active expansion
Second active market, with higher urban density, widespread card usage and strong corporate demand for transport and delivery.
New African markets
Open to partners
Franchise structure by country, province or city for investors who want to launch Tsemba in an exclusive territory with central team support. New markets enter through assessment and local agreement.

How we make money
Platform revenue, not the partner's pocket.
Our position is clear: zero commission on driver and courier earnings under the conditions published on the platform. Revenue comes from volume, services and partnerships.
Service and delivery fees
Charged to the end customer per ride, food order or delivered parcel.
Business accounts
Staff transport, corporate deliveries and documents, with centralised invoicing and reporting.
Franchises and territories
Revenue shared with operators running the brand and operation in an exclusive territory.
Value-added services
Restaurant advertising and placement, insurance, fuel, maintenance and partner programmes.
Use of proceeds
What the investment funds.
Capital goes into network growth, product and compliance in each market.
- Onboarding and training of drivers, couriers and restaurants
- Product and engineering: apps, dashboards, maps and payments
- Local operations, customer support, trust and safety
- Licensing, insurance and legal compliance per country
- Local marketing focused on cities and neighbourhoods

- What kind of investment does Tsemba accept?
- We consider equity, market joint ventures and territory franchises. The instrument is defined case by case, based on the market and the investor's role.

- Yes. You can invest in a country, province or city operation through a joint venture or territory franchise, while technology and brand stay centralised at Tsemba.
